A simple miso marinated skirt steak recipe that can serve four  *  Mix 2 Tbsp miso paste, 2 tsp mirin, and 2 tsp sake in a bowl – and then add the skirt steak  *  Coat steak with the marinade – cover and refrigerate 4 hours  *  Preheat the grill  *  Remove steak from the bowl and rub with 1 tsp canola oil to keep it from sticking on thew grill  *  Grill until medium rare or your preferred temperature  *  Remove from grill and plate the steaks  *  Garnish with 1 baby turnip thinly shaved – 1 angle cut green onion stalk and some chili thread for additional garnish  *  it never hurts to keep some miso paste – mirin – hoisan sauce and sake on hand for Japanese flavor
